Where it makes sense
Seam Grip WP is a repair option for compatible tent seams and small fabric damage when there is time to prepare the surface and let the adhesive cure. The 1-ounce tube is a practical size for a targeted home repair or a deliberately chosen repair kit. It is not a universal tent treatment: GEAR AID explicitly excludes silicone-treated fabrics. Identify the coating on the side you are repairing before buying, and follow the supplied instructions for preparation and curing. A small localized repair is a better match than coating an entire deteriorating fly. Pack it so that the cap and contents cannot contaminate food or bedding.
