Where it makes sense
The Lighthouse 600 is a directional lantern with a clear practical choice: illuminate both sides for a shared space or one side for a more focused area. That choice changes its published runtime substantially. Folding legs lift the light above a table, while the handle gives a carrying or hanging option. The hand crank is an emergency way to recover low-level illumination, not a sensible plan for routine phone charging. Its USB output draws from the same internal battery as the LEDs, so keep an explicit lighting reserve when lending power to other devices. Consider its larger shape when packing a small vehicle.
The tradeoff
Both sides on high have a short listed runtime; hand cranking is limited backup
