The Noah's Tarp 9 is the smallest of this three-size family and is best approached as focused overhead cover. It can make sense for a pair's compact sitting area or a small gear station where a larger tarp would crowd the campsite. Its square dimensions describe the fabric laid flat, not an all-weather dry square underneath. Raising the center and lowering edges changes both usable height and coverage, while slanting rain reaches inside the perimeter.
