Where it makes sense
The Squeeze is a compact hollow-fiber filter that can support an individual water routine without a pump. Sawyer lists a three-ounce filter element and a 0.1-micron absolute pore size, with published bacteria and protozoa reduction claims. The complete kit weight depends on the included pouches and accessories, so the element weight is not a full packing figure. Its useful comparison with a gravity system is workflow: one person actively squeezes water through the filter rather than hanging a reservoir for a group.
