Where it makes sense
A strip of Tenacious Tape is useful for small tears in compatible tent panels when a cut-to-size patch is more appropriate than liquid seam treatment. Keep the backing intact until the damaged area is clean and dry, then follow the manufacturer's overlap and pressure directions. The strip format lets you choose the shape of a repair, but standard Tenacious Tape should not be assumed compatible with silicone-treated fabric; a separate silicone-specific product exists. It is also not a substitute for a structural repair to a heavily loaded seam or guyout. A small labeled envelope protects the tape and makes it easy to find before a minor snag becomes a larger tear.
